The Noel Pointer Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing access to quality music education for underserved youth. We aim to inspire and empower young individuals through music, helping them develop valuable life skills and pursue their passions.

Noel Pointer was a renowned jazz violinist and a passionate advocate for music education. He believed in the transformative power of music and dedicated his life to sharing this gift with young people. The Foundation was established in his honor to continue his legacy and extend his vision to future generations.

We offer a range of programs including:

  • In-Program Music Classes: Providing instruction in various instruments and music theory.
  • Summer Music Camps: Intensive, immersive experiences for skill development.
  • Scholarship Programs: Financial assistance for students pursuing higher education in music.
  • Community Outreach: Workshops and performances to engage and inspire local communities.

No. Instruments can be rented from NPF!

Financial

Payments can be made through your Jumbula account in the Customer Area. If you know your balance or are paying for supplies, you can pay directly here.

Payments can also be made by calling the NPF office (718-230-4825), or in person with cash, card, or check during our office hours. Checks should be made payable to Noel Pointer Foundation.

The fee for returned checks is $35.

All payments must be caught up before you are allowed to register for another class and classes may be paused or cancelled depending on the situation. Please reach out if you are going to be late on a payment.

Yes, the Noel Pointer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult with your tax advisor for specific details regarding tax deductions.

Yes, we gratefully accept donations of certain musical instruments and supplies in good condition. Please contact us at info@noelpointer.org to arrange a donation. Please note we are not accepting any piano donations at this time.
